Cable/Pipe Laying
Dominion Diving has participated as primary subcontractor for numerous pipe and cable laying workscopes.
We have conducted pre-laying surveys, marked the cable routes, prepared underwater trenches, and then carried out and assisted with the cable pull-in operations. On completion, DDL has been relied upon to ensure the burial of the cables and when required, install articulated cable protection from landing point to burial.
In-Water Survey of Ships
Dominion Diving routinely performs in-water surveys (class inspections) throughout Eastern Canada and the Great Lakes under certifications provided by Lloyd’s Register Canada, DNV, BV, and ABS.
If your vessel holds an alternate class certification we can often make arrangements to perform an in-water survey acceptable to your classification society.

Hull Cleaning
Dominion Diving regularly inspects, repairs, and polishes propellers on all classes of vessel. A smooth and properly polished propeller costs less to maintain, reduces fuel consumption by up to 10%, and does not foul easily.
Additionally, we supply thorough hull cleaning services that include barnacle and sea-life removal from the following surfaces and structures: flat bottoms, sides, grids, sea chests, rudders, ship repair.
Ship Repair
Dominion Diving is practiced at performing Dry Box ship repair services. Repairs can be conducted dockside at Dominion Diving’s quayside facility or at anchorage in the Harbour.
